Finnish plant-based product manufacturer Oddlygood has acquired the Nordic brand Planti for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition includes Planti's products, brand, and intellectual property rights.
Planti, previously owned by the Norwegian Kavli Group, is a brand that specializes in plant-based dairy alternatives. Its portfolio includes plant-based yogurt and cream made primarily using soy and oats.
The acquisition of Planti strengthens Oddlygood's market position in the dairy alternative category (spoonable snacks and cooking products). It allows the company to expand its product offering and further solidify its presence in the plant-based food industry in Sweden and Finland.
