Medable, a clinical trial management software provider, has partnered with Pluto Health, a healthcare coordination company, to enhance the clinical trial experience for participants and improve data collection during trials.

Through the partnership, the companies will aim to connect patients to the right medical resources, including access to clinical trials and home delivery of medication. Pluto Health's platform will collect participants’ health information and create personalized care plans, while Medable will offer features such as patient identification and remote patient monitoring. The partnership also aims to improve data quality and facilitate long-term follow-up with patients post-trial.

Pluto Health offers an automated care coordination platform that helps patients address their health needs and care gaps, such as getting lab work, referrals, medications, immunizations, and preventive services. The company additionally provides care coordination services by working with healthcare professionals who support and coordinate care for patients along their respective health journeys. As of September 2023, the company claims to have closed over 500,000 care gaps, from missing preventive health immunizations to assistance with colon cancer screenings.
