Thread, a clinical trial management platform provider, has announced it has expanded its partnership with data connectivity company Datavant to launch a tokenization feature for clinical trial and real-world data.

This partnership allows biopharmaceutical companies to link and analyze patient records across de-identified datasets, while preserving patient privacy. The tokenization feature can be easily configured in Thread's study builder and enables the secure connection of clinical trial data with real-world data sources like claims and electronic health records. The integration of clinical and real-world data provides a longitudinal view of the patient journey and supports the generation of enhanced evidence for research studies.
