Netherlands-based AI-powered diagnostics startup Cordys Analytics has raised EUR 0.9 million (~USD 1 million) in seed funding from LUMO Labs, ROM Utrecht Region, and the Utrecht Health Seed Fund.
The new funds will be used to expand the company’s AI-powered software platform for electrocardiogram analysis (AI-ECG) and integrate diagnostic services into the workflow of healthcare professionals. The company will also collaborate with the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU) to develop and refine AI-ECG algorithms.
Founded in 2023, Cordys Analytics is a spin-out from UMCU that focuses on developing a cloud-based AI-ECG platform to detect heart disease. It uses advanced deep learning techniques to identify patterns and abnormalities in ECG data that traditional diagnostic methods often miss. The software aims to support healthcare professionals in making informed decisions and reducing hospitalizations and complications associated with untreated heart conditions by providing real-time data analysis and remote accessibility.
