Hybridworks, a textile recycling company, has secured USD 3.2 million in a seed funding round led by a private investor. The funding will be used to scale R&D expenditure and production infrastructure of the company.
Previously, in 2022, the company raised USD 300,000 in pre-seed funding from the founding team and angel investors.
Founded in 2020, Hybridworks recycles blended fabrics to separate cotton and polyester components for reuse. The company develops its Hybridworks Sustainable Textile & Environmental Process (hSTEP) aided by custom machinery and systems for recycling waste textiles.
