Cybersecurity firm BlackBerry has announced a new GenAI assistant designed to assist with security operations center (SOC) functions. The AI acts as an automated SOC analyst, leveraging private large language models (LLMs) to generate threat analysis and security task support.
The assistant will be available to customers of the company’s Cylance AI product and will be fully integrated with the Cylance Console. BlackBerry claims its new product will predict customer requirements and proactively offer information rather than requiring manual query inputs.
BlackBerry’s cybersecurity assistant will initially be made available to a select group of customers.
