Koidra, a provider of an AI- and IoT-based software platform for farmers, has partnered with Priva, a climate control company specializing in smart building automation, greenhouse technology, and indoor farming, to integrate Priva's ecosystem with Koidra's intelligent automation software.
The partnership combines Priva's climate control expertise and solutions, such as Datapilot and Autopilot, with Koidra's intelligent automation solutions, with the aim of advancing autonomous greenhouses. Priva customers can integrate their process computers, cloud services, and API connections with Koidra's solutions.
Analyst QuickTake: Koidra continues to explore the greenhouse and farm automation spaces and beyond. The partnership comes on the heels of the company winning a CAD 1 million (~USD 0.7 million) Homegrown Innovation Challenge grant earlier this month for autonomous strawberry production, together with the University of Guelph and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
