Allara raises USD 10 million in Series A funding

Funding

  • Allara, a Telehealth provider for women's chronic hormonal conditions, has raised USD 10 million in a Series A funding round led by Google Ventures, along with participation from other venture capital firms and angel investors. This brings the total funds raised by the company to USD 17.5 million.

  • The funding will be used to extend insurance coverage, launch partnerships with health systems, conduct clinical research, and scale Allara’s operations.

  • New York-based Allara connects women with chronic hormonal conditions, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis, with qualified medical practitioners and registered dietitians through its online platform. Its platform provides medical, lifestyle, nutrition, and emotional support for women with hormonal, metabolic, and gynecological conditions, helping patients develop personalized treatment plans. Allara additionally provides access to research-based supplements and mental health services based on customer requests.
