SynFutures, a decentralized derivatives exchange, has raised USD 22 million in a Series B funding round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from HashKey Capital and SIG DT Investments. This round brings the company's total funding to USD 37.4 million.
Alongside the funding, the company announced that it would be launching its automated market maker called Oyster.
SynFutures offers a decentralized derivatives exchange that enables users to trade perpetual futures contracts on a range of digital assets. Users can list and trade both cryptocurrency and NFT futures using a single-token liquidity model. Since its launch in October 2021, the platform amassed around 100,000 traders and reached a lifetime trading volume of USD 21 billion.
