Berlin-based healthtech startup HealthCaters has raised EUR 1.2 million (USD 1.1 million) in a seed funding round led by Barmenia Next Strategies, with participation from other investors including Venpace and DvH Ventures.
The new funds will be used to further develop the company’s healthcare solutions, expand its human resources, and capture international markets.
Founded in 2020, HealthCaters offers a medical self-screening station and an AI-powered health coaching app that allow people to test 27 health indicators and receive immediate results and personalized action points. The company offers its services directly to consumers and also via employers and insurance providers. It has established partnerships with major companies such as IBM and WeWork.
