Ryder, a developer of cryptocurrency hardware wallets, has raised USD 1.2 million in a funding round that saw participation from a number of investors including Oak Grove Ventures, SBX Capital, Bitcoin Frontier Fund, and Muneeb Ali (co-founder of Trust Machines).
Along with the raise, the company launched Ryder One, a user-friendly cryptocurrency hardware wallet. It employs a TapSafe recovery system–replacing the complex seed recovery phase process– that uses a secure combination of hardware and a mobile application to safeguard the wallet. Pre-orders for Ryder One begin on November 1, 2023.
Founded in 2022, Ryder develops hardware wallets with the aim of enhancing accessibility to cryptocurrencies and Web3.
