Bike insurer Bikmo secures GBP 3.4 million in Series A extension for European expansion

Funding

  • Bikmo, a UK-based specialist bike insurer, has raised GBP 3.4 million (~USD 4.1 million) in a Series A extension round led by Puma Private Equity. Its total funding now stands at GBP 5.3 million (~USD 6.4 million).

  • The company aims to use the fresh funds to accelerate growth in the UK and Europe.

  • Bikmo offers embedded bike insurance via APIs through retail and manufacturing partners. It currently offers protection to over 75,000 riders (from mountain bikers to triathletes to e-bike riders) in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Austria.
