Laka, an InsurTech providing bicycle insurance, raised EUR 7.6 million (~USD 8 million) in equity and debt funding, bringing its total funds raised to USD 31 million. The round was led by Shift4 Good, with participation from existing investors Autotech Ventures, Porsche Ventures, and Creandum, among others.
Furthermore, Laka announced the acquisition of Cylantro, a France-based e-bike insurance broker, for an undisclosed amount.
Through these initiatives, the company aims to expand its presence in the European market.
