USQRisk, a global managing general agent specializing in alternative risk transfer, announced the launch of Pera, a managing general agent that will provide cyber insurance and combined cyber and tech errors and omissions (E&O) insurance to large US enterprises.
The new business will develop US cyber products for the Chaucer group and will be led by chief underwriting officer and head of cyber Jeffrey Bratt. Bratt previously held cyber leadership positions at M&T Bank, AmTrust Financial, and Trium Cyber and was an advisor at Marsh and associate deputy general counsel at the Department of Defense.
Pera is the first MGA to emerge from USQRisk’s accelerator program, Desq, and will operate as a division of Desq.
