Renewcell, a Swedish startup that recycles textile waste into circular material feedstock, has partnered with Inditex, a textile conglomerate company, for a supply agreement for 2,000 tons of Renewcell's Circulose fiber.
The partnership aims to source a fiber blend of Circulose pulp and cellulose sourced from sustainable forests as raw materials for Inditex's suppliers. Thereby, Inditex expects to reach the goal of sourcing 25% of its fibers from next-generation materials by 2030.
This partnership was announced on the heels of Inditex’s collaboration with Ambercycle , to purchase the latter’s Cycora material in October 2023.
