Giga ML, a company specialized in enabling enterprises to train and securely deploy large language models (LLMs) on their own servers, secured USD 3.6 million in a seed funding round. The funding round was led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Y Combinator, Liquid 2 Venture, 8vdx, and notable angels including Garry Tan, Y Combinator's president and CEO.
Founded just three months ago, the Indo-US firm provides solutions for healthcare, legal, and finance enterprises seeking secure on-premise deployment of LLMs. The firm has also developed its own pre-trained LLM (X1 Large 32k), which enterprises can access to further pre-train and fine-tune to meet their specific needs.
