Zipline, a drone-based medical supply delivery company, has partnered with Cleveland Clinic, a healthcare provider, to offer drone-based medication deliveries to patients' homes in Northeast Ohio starting in 2025.
The companies will use Zipline's latest P2 delivery system , initially delivering specialty medications and prescriptions, with plans to expand to emergency prescriptions, lab samples, and medical supplies.
Analyst QuickTake: Cleveland Clinic now joins the growing list of Zipline’s partners to have joined forces to use its P2 drone-based delivery system. The list includes Mendocino Farms, OhioHealth, GNC, Pagliacci, Associated Couriers, Sweetgreen, Michigan Medicine, MultiCare Health Systems, Intermountain Health, and the government of Rwanda .
