Hyzon to upfit up to 20 FCEVs for New Zealand’s TR Group

Partnerships

  • Hyzon Motors (Hyzon), a commercial hydrogen fuel cell technology developer, has revised its commercial agreement with the New Zealand-based truck fleet operator, TR Group, to upfit up to 20 fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) with Hyzon's single stack 200kW fuel cell system.

  • Under the new agreement, Hyzon will initially upfit two FCEVs, which will be deployed for a three-month commercial trial, scheduled to commence in March 2024.

  • Following the trial, TR group has the option to purchase the two trucks and to upfit 18 additional trucks with Hyzon’s technology. The new agreement cancels and supersedes the previous agreement between the two parties, announced in January 2021.
