Lhyfe begins construction of first green hydrogen production plant in Germany

Geographic expansion

  • Lhyfe, a French developer and supplier of green hydrogen solutions, has unveiled plans to establish its first large-scale green hydrogen production plant in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

  • The facility, which has 10 MW of installed capacity, aims to generate up to 4 tonnes of green hydrogen per day.

  • The plant will be powered by renewable electricity and will be due for commission in the second half of 2024. The green hydrogen generated will be used in the neighboring H2-Aspen industrial park and for the local JET H2 hydrogen filling station. This project forms part of a bigger initiative, the HyFIVE project, aimed at rolling out green hydrogen in Germany.
