Siemens, a provider of industrial automation and systems integration solutions, and Microsoft are strengthening their partnership to bring GenAI benefits to global industries with the introduction of Siemens Industrial Copilot, an AI-powered assistant designed to enhance human-machine collaboration in manufacturing by simplifying virtual collaboration across different teams.
Siemens Industrial Copilot enables rapid generation, optimization, and debugging of complex automation code, reducing simulation times from weeks to minutes.
The collaboration also includes the release of Teamcenter for Microsoft Teams, which leverages GenAI to connect functions in product design and manufacturing, making data more accessible for workers in factory and field services across various industries.
Siemens’ digital industries’ software is offered through the Xcelerator, an integrated portfolio of software, services, and applications, with the aim of achieving synchronization between manufacturing, engineering, and service operations. The portfolio helps companies leverage digital twin technologies, enabling innovation through insights and automation solutions.
