Dreamfarm, an Italian FoodTech startup specializing in plant-based cheese alternatives, has secured a EUR 5 million (~USD 5.3 million) investment backed by Giampaolo Cagnin and Francesco Mutti.
A portion of the funding has already been utilized to establish a production facility, with the remainder being deployed to widen distribution networks and for R&D activity.
Dreamfarm, founded in 2021, develops plant-based cheese products using a patented process. Following two years of R&D, the company debuted a plant-based mozzarella, which claims to be the first and only mozzarella alternative with a government-certified liquid status and a Nutriscore A rating.
