Flitter, a France-based pay-per-mile insurance provider, has raised ~EUR 3.5 million (USD 3.8 million) in seed funding. The round was led by Swiss insurer Helvetia via its Helvetia Venture Fund, along with participation from FrenchFounders Fund and individual investors. The total funds raised by the company now stand at EUR 6 million (USD 6.4 million).
The company plans to utilize the fresh funds to scale its pay-by-mile car insurance services and for new hires to double its headcount to 40.
Established in 2020, Flitter offers pay-per-mile insurance and serves over 30,000 customers. It also launched a solution that integrates with connected vehicles, enabling automated mileage reporting to complement its insurance plan.
