VR game development studio AstroBeam raised USD 3 million in a seed funding round, with participation from The Venture Reality Fund, Anorak Ventures, Boost VC, TIRTA Ventures, and Oculus co-founder Nate Mitchell.
The funds will be used to develop a VR multiplayer experience that is accessible and engaging for players.
AstroBeam is led by Devin Reimer, former CEO and CTO of Owlchemy Labs. The company aims to create a VR multiplayer game which emphasizes natural hand tracking and voice communication to create an easy-to-approach environment for players.
