Polestar, a Swedish electric car manufacturer, has partnered with Luminar Technologies, a manufacturer of LiDAR sensors, and Mobileye, an Intel subsidiary developing technology for self-driving vehicles, to develop autonomous driving technology for the upcoming Polestar 4 model.
By integrating Luminar's LiDAR technology and Mobileye's “Chauffeur” platform, Polestar 4, the company plans to offer advanced autonomous driving capabilities in its vehicles, including hands-off driving on highways and hands-on automated driving in other environments.
