Geek+ and Kerry TJ Logistics provide automated warehouse fulfillment solutions for New Balance

Partnerships

  • Geek+, a developer of robotic systems for logistics and warehouse operations, has partnered with Kerry TJ Logistics, a Taiwan-based transportation and logistics company, to create an automated fulfillment center to handle B2B and B2C orders for the latter's client, New Balance, a sports footwear and apparel manufacturer.

  • The warehouse, equipped with Geek+'s Shelf-to-Person system, improves picking efficiency and optimizes space utilization. The facility also prioritizes sustainability, as the robots are able to operate in the dark, thus reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s news comes on the heels of Geek+ announcing a similar partnership with FORTNA, a provider of automation and software solutions for logistics, to make Geek+'s sortation systems and goods-to-person facilities accessible for FORTNA's clientele for warehouse order fulfillment.
