Accenture to acquire Innotec Security to support Spain operations

M&A

  • Global consulting and IT services company Accenture has acquired Innotec Security, a Madrid-based cybersecurity-as-a-service firm, from parent company Entelgy to expand its presence and capabilities in Spain.

  • Accenture said the acquisition will allow it to provide enhanced support to multinationals with a presence in Spain, extending services across Europe and Latin America, while also serving as a launch pad for further expansion into the under-penetrated local market. Innotec will remain a separate business and retain its brand in the short term before being integrated into Accenture Security over the next year.

  • The acquisition also brings with it 500 Innotec employees, doubling Accenture Security’s headcount in Spain, though existing employees focused primarily on global clients. Innotec’s portfolio includes threat simulation, detection, and response, incident management, cyber intelligence, infrastructure and application security, cyber risk assessment, and security consulting.
