Archer Aviation, a California-based eVTOL company, has partnered with BETA Technologies, a US-based company developing eVTOL aircraft for urban air mobility, to expedite the development of an interoperable swift-charging system in the electric aircraft sector.
Archer is incorporating two of BETA's Charge Cube systems at its test flight facilities, along with several mobile charging systems known as Mini Cube.
BETA's charging system, which aligns with global certification standards, is currently in operation at 14 sites in the eastern US. This initiative will extend BETA's network to the west coast, following its growth along the east coast.
