Eve Air Mobility, a company developing next-gen Urban Air Mobility (UAM) solutions, has signed a letter of intent with Kookiejar, a Swedish vertiport developer, to collaborate on incorporating Eve's urban air traffic management system for vertiport operations in Dubai. This marks Eve's first urban air traffic management (ATM) agreement in Dubai.
Under this collaboration, Kookiejar and its local affiliate Air Chateau plan to introduce vertiport hubs in Dubai connected by Eve's urban ATM system for UAM operations. This is in line with plans to commercialize urban airspace in Dubai by 2025 to 2026.
Analyst QuickTake: Similarly, in June 2023 , Eve and Blade Air Mobility announced an expanded partnership to integrate Eve's upcoming eVTOL aircraft into Blade's European route network, starting with France.
