ZEDEDA launches Edge Kubernetes Service for distributed edge infrastructure

Product updates

  • ZEDEDA, a distributed edge company supporting app deployments, has announced a new service named ZEDEDA Edge Kubernetes Service. The service is an industry-first, offering a fully managed Kubernetes service for distributed edge.

  • It features a Kubernetes runtime managed by ZEDEDA itself, integrations with various leading orchestrators, and the capability to operate in remote, distributed locations with constrained devices. The service also offers secure and cost-efficient deployment and operation of Kubernetes infrastructure at the distributed edge.

  • ZEDEDA claims that this new service will streamline the deployment of Kubernetes in edge environments, allowing customers to concentrate on their applications instead of dealing with the underlying infrastructure. The company asserts that this will increase visibility, security, and control while reducing the cost of managing and orchestrating distributed edge infrastructure and applications.
