Qevlar AI raises EUR 4.5 million in seed funding for security operations product

  • Qevlar AI (Qevlar), a Paris-based cybersecurity startup focusing on threat detection and investigation, has raised EUR 4.5 million in a seed funding round led by EQT Ventures, with participation from several tech and AI angel investors.

  • The seed funding will be funneled into further developing Qevlar’s security operations product and to expand the startup’s team.

  • Qevlar uses AI to help enterprise security teams become more productive, with a particular focus on streamlining threat detection and response processes in the security operations center (SOC). The company is developing a GenAI solution designed to automate cybersecurity investigations and threat detection processes even in more complex business environments.
