Telecommunications giant AT&T will reportedly separate its managed cybersecurity services unit from its core business through a joint venture (JV) to be set up with WillJam Ventures. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024, and WillJam will also contribute through a capital infusion of unknown value to the new entity.
AT&T Cybersecurity offers a range of services, including managed threat detection and response, managed security, consulting and advisory, and education and training, along with cloud security, IoT security, and identity and access management solutions.
