Pyrum Innovations, a German tire recycling company, has signed a cooperation agreement with BASF for a conditional tranche-based loan of EUR 25 million (~USD 27.2 million), to be used to build three new factories by 2026.
The first plant is proposed to be constructed in Saarland, with each factory expected to have an annual capacity of 20,000 tons. The company also plans to use the funds to make equity contributions and co-fund up to five recently announced projects.
