  • Recycleye, an intelligent waste management startup has partnered with plastic packaging recycling company Valorplast and TotalEnergies to develop Project OMNI, a sorting solution to identify food-quality polypropylene from household post-consumer waste.

  • Project OMNI uses AI and a robotic sorting system developed by Recycleye to separate material from the waste collected by Valorplast, achieving a 50% successful pick rate of food-grade material, with 95% purity. The recovered material was then decontaminated and repurposed by TotalEnergies to create recycled polypropylene for high-end packaging applications.
