Imbue invests USD 150 million in Dell servers; focuses on advancing FMs

Partnerships

  • Imbue, an AI startup, has entered a USD 150 million deal with Dell to acquire servers for training its in-house foundation models (FMs). These servers, alongside NVIDIA H100 GPUs, form a high-performance computer setup co-designed with Voltage Park for AI development.

  • The collaborative effort between Imbue, Dell, and Voltage Park has resulted in a computing cluster allowing experimentation on new model architectures. Imbue is using this setup to develop prototype agents capable of code bug correction and analysis of extensive documents.

  • This partnership is imperative for Dell's aim to delve deeper into AI workloads and for Voltage Park, a specialized AI cloud provider, operating a substantial data center housing thousands of NVIDIA H100 GPUs, strengthening their position in the AI landscape.
