XR streaming service Hololight has raised USD 12 million in a funding round led by European growth equity firm Flatz Hoffmann, with contributions from existing investors EnBW New Ventures, Bayern Kapital, and Future Energy Ventures. This investment increases Hololight's total funding to USD 27 million.
The funds will be used to enhance Hololight's XR streaming technology, which is designed to support enterprises in various sectors, such as product development, manufacturing, training, and service industries. The investment aims to advance the capabilities of the Hololight Hub, an enterprise streaming platform for VR, AR, and MR content.
Analyst QuickTake: Hololight has consistently been raising increasing amounts of funding over the past few years. This includes Hololight’s USD 6 million investment in December 2021 . Funds were earmarked to strengthen its marketing and sales activities and bolster its competitive advantage. Additionally, the company raised USD 4.4 million in a Series A funding round in December 2019.
