Avebe, a Dutch company specializing in potato-based products, has introduced PerfectaSOL, a new alternative protein ingredient for plant-based dairy, confectionery, and other food applications.
PerfectaSOL claims to be an ideal texturizer for plant-based dairy products with various properties, including gelling, smoothness, emulsifying, and stability. Further, it is allergen-free and devoid of off-taste.
According to the company, it can substitute ingredients like modified starches and hydrocolloids, allowing clean-label formulations, and presents a considerable improvement compared to other plant-based proteins.
