DataCebo, a company utilizing GenAI to generate synthetic data, emerged from stealth, securing USD 8.5 million in a seed funding round co-led by Link Ventures and Zetta Venture Partners, with participation from Uncorrelated Ventures. The total funds raised by the company now stand at USD 11.5 million.
The seed funding will be used to accelerate the development of DataCebo's platform and to establish a go-to-market team.
Alongside the funds raised, DataCebo also introduced a commercial offering for its open-source library, known as Synthetic Data Vault (SDV) Enterprise. This offering enables developers to effortlessly build, deploy, and manage GenAI models tailored for enterprise-grade applications in situations where real data is scarce or unavailable. It is currently being deployed across 13 applications.
Founded in 2020, DataCebo specializes in providing GenAI models that create synthetic data for testing and ML training. Currently employing 11 individuals, the company aims to expand its workforce to 20 employees over the next year.
