RELEX Solutions announced the acquisition of Optimity, a provider of supply chain planning and optimization solutions. The specifics of the deal, including the acquisition amount, were not disclosed.

With its headquarters in Sweden and offices globally, Optimity provides a wide range of services to meet the supply chain planning and optimization requirements of manufacturers and distributors. It has a customer base of more than 80 in the food, beverage, and complex manufacturing industries.

After integrating Optimity, RELEX aims to deepen its capabilities in production planning and supply chain optimization. This improvement will leverage Optimity's offerings in demand planning, production planning, distribution planning, inventory optimization, and sales and operations planning, allowing RELEX to achieve its vision of creating an adaptable, autonomous, and synchronized supply chain.
