Joby Aviation partners with Clay Lacy Aviation to install electric air taxi charger

Partnerships

  • Joby Aviation, a California-based eVTOL developer, has partnered with Clay Lacy Aviation, a California-based private aviation company, to set up an electric air taxi charger at the John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County, California. It is the first of its kind in Southern California and is also a part of the company's air taxi network in the region.

  • This partnership aims to construct the electrical infrastructure for Joby's Global Electric Aviation Charging System (GEACS). The installation will also support Clay Lacy’s redevelopment of its fixed-based operator (FBO) terminal at SNA.
