Luma AI, a developer of 3D models, has secured USD 43 million in a Series B funding round. Key investors included Andreessen Horowitz and other undisclosed participants. This investment round places Luma's valuation between USD 200 million and USD 300 million.
The funds will be directed toward the development of models capable of generating 3D objects from text descriptions, increasing Luma’s workforce by 100% by the end of the next year, and establishing a server cluster consisting of "thousands" of GPUs.
