Flexe, a logistics provider, has laid off 99 workers, due to volatility in the logistics industry, driven by continued macroeconomic uncertainty since March 2023.
This amounts to more than one-third of its workforce, reducing its staff by 38%, following the dismissal of 131 jobs in September.
Despite the layoffs, Flexe maintains that it holds a strong cash position and is not shutting down. The firm states that its primary focus instead is to conserve its ability to continue investing in the business.
