Hyundai's eVTOL division, Supernal, has released a new product concept known as the S-A2, an electric vertical takeoff and landing prototype. The company expects to launch it by 2028 for short-range commercial air taxi services.
The company claims the S-A2 concept aircraft would be capable of cruising at 120 mph and reaching an altitude of 1,500 feet. Its robust battery capacity would suffice for 25 to 40 miles. The physical features of the product include an egg-shaped cabin and eight tilt rotors.
