Harness, a cloud-based end-to-end software delivery platform, has acquired the assets of Armory, a continuous delivery platform company, for USD 7 million.
Armory, founded in 2016, has developed a continuous deployment solution built atop Spinnaker's open-source project. In its lifetime, it has managed to attract over USD 82 million in funding and a substantial customer base, including companies like LaunchDarkly, Autodesk, Informatica, Patreon, First Republic Bank, and HelloSign.
Post-acquisition, Harness will retain many of Armory’s employees and transition Armory customers to its platform to provide continuity of relationships and services. Additionally, Harness plans to integrate some of Armory’s technology into its products.
