ACE Green Recycling delivers Phase I of recycling technology to ACME

Partnerships

  • ACE Green Recycling, an innovative recycling platform for battery materials, has delivered the first of three phases of its lead battery recycling technology to lead alloy manufacturer ACME Metal Enterprise's facility in Keelung City, Taiwan. ACE will provide equipment and proprietary chemicals to enable ACME to produce GreenLead.

  • ACME received Phase I of the agreement in December 2023, involving 2,400 metric tons per annum. Phases II and III, scheduled for later this year, will increase annual capacity to approximately 20,000 metric tons.

  • Over the 10-year contract, the facilities aim to recycle more than 14 million scrap batteries. ACME will have the capacity to recycle 20,000 metric tons per year of lead batteries to produce about 12,000 metric tons of GreenLead, generating nearly USD 24 million in annual revenue.
