Fingerprint Cards introduces biometric payment card enrollment system

Product updates

  • Fingerprint Cards (FPC), a biometric sensor and software provider, has introduced FPC Smart'Nroll, a reusable device for enrolling biometric data on payment cards. Smart'Nroll includes a self-explanatory display, prompts, and a progress bar to guide users through enrollment, regardless of their language.

  • The device has a replaceable battery, complies with several card configurations, and meets GDPR compliance as it does not store personal fingerprint data.

  • The company further noted that the enrollment devices are ready for shipment and can support biometric payment card launches.
