DXwand, a startup specializing in conversational AI for customer service and employee assistance, raised USD 4 million in a Series A funding round led by UAE's Shorooq Partners and Cairo-based Algebra Ventures, with Dubai Future District Fund also joining as an existing investor.
The new funds will be used to assist DXwand in its expansion efforts in the MENA region. The startup will also accelerate its R&D endeavors, focusing on areas such as GenAI, knowledge mining, and omnichannel conversational AI.
DXwand offers DXP, an integrative AI solutions platform capable of automating text and voice conversations between businesses and their customers across various platforms, including call centers, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, and websites. The company serves over 40 clients across different sectors in the MENA region and has facilitated more than 5 million conversations since its inception.
