Ekobot, a Swedish company developing autonomous electric weeding robots that use AI and camera sensors to detect and mechanically remove weeds, has appointed Homburg Holland, a manufacturer of agricultural equipment, as the importer of Ekobot for the Netherlands.
Under the agreement, Homburg Holland aims to sell 10 Ekobot autonomous robotic systems for mechanical weed control in 2024 and early 2025, with deliveries set for the 2025 growing season. It will manage marketing and sales in the Dutch market and also handle delivery, training, support, service, spare parts, and warranty matters.
