Overair and Clay Lacy Aviation to start electric aviation operations in Southern California

Partnerships

  • Overair, a US-based company developing eVTOL aircraft, has partnered with Clay Lacy Aviation, a California-based private aviation company, to set up vertiport operations for Overair's Butterfly eVTOL in Southern California.

  • The partnership will also develop electric charging facilities at Clay Lacy's FBO (fixed-base operator) locations at John Wayne Airport and Van Nuys Airport.

  • Overair will provide aircraft maintenance, user and vertiport software integration, and flight path planning to the facilities. Clay Lacy will manage the charging infrastructure and operational logistics of the partnership.
