Gevulot, a layer-1 blockchain, has raised USD 6 million in seed funding led by Variant, with the participation of RockawayX, Volt Capital, Staking Facilities, and other individual investors.
The fresh funds will be used to facilitate the launch of its layer-1 blockchain, which will allow developers to use zero-knowledge (zk) proofs and assign computational tasks to an advanced hardware operator network, enabling scalable applications.
Gevulot is a decentralized prover network optimized for zk proof generation and verification. The platform aggregates proving workloads and allows users to permissionlessly deploy any prover and offload compute to a network of sophisticated hardware operators to utilize the hardware resources in the network better and reduce costs for all participants.
