Eve Air Mobility, a company developing next-gen Urban Air Mobility (UAM) solutions, has partnered with Thales, Honeywell, RECARO Aircraft Seating, and FACC to obtain supplies for its eVTOL aircraft.
Thales will contribute an air data solution to gauge flight data, including airspeed, altitude, and environmental conditions. It is made up of sensors and computers to provide information to pilots and onboard systems.
Honeywell will supply guidance and navigation tools, such as GPS-aided attitude and heading reference systems, and inertial reference systems. In addition, Honeywell will provide external lighting for the aircraft.
RECARO Aircraft Seating will design and deliver the aircraft seats. FACC plans to produce the horizontal and vertical tail, including the rudder, elevator, and the aircraft’s aileron.
